Bright and complex — red berry, plum and hibiscus on the nose, leading into a smooth, medium-bodied cup with stone fruit sweetness and a clean, tea-like finish. The semi-washed (honey) process preserves the fruit character while adding a gentle sweetness that makes this coffee sing.

What is Semi Washed (Honey) Processing?

In semi-washed processing, the coffee cherry’s outer skin is removed but some of the sticky fruit mucilage is left on the bean as it dries. This imparts a natural sweetness and complexity that fully washed coffees lack. It’s a labour-intensive process that speaks to the quality and care invested in each batch.
